Overview

Greengages were an existing IT Support customer who we helped with cloud based hosting for their business. Their website was a little tired, and with the 10th anniversary of the business coming up, it was time to update their online presence.

Context & Challenge

Sam knew she needed to change the look and feel of her website but wanted to remain personable and approachable. She was open to the possibility of a new logo and branding, so we set to work creating some options for her to consider. When we presented our thoughts and ideas she was thrilled and chose the new logo with confidence.

Processes & Insights

We knew Sam and her team really well, so we already knew her standards were high. The website needed to be clean and easy to navigate with clear calls to action at every possible opportunity.

In her line of business, testimonials are a crucial part of the onboarding process, so these became a vital part of the curation and build. Graphics needed to be soft but strong, and text easy to read. Important information needed to be set out well, and questions easy to ask.

After the first draft we knew we were on the right track. Collaboration was key as we gathered information and encouraged Sam to write technical copy that she knew her clients could understand.

Solution

A new logo and branding were born – this time more modern and simplified. The classic look meant that the website was clean and uncluttered, which was exactly what Sam wanted. Colour palettes were tweaked slightly from the original so as to maintain some continuity for her clients.

Staff bios were added and when Covid restrictions are lifted, a new team photo will appear on the site.

Result

Everything on this site screams quality and ease of use. Beautiful images adorn each page, keeping the interest of the reader, along with all of the copy needed to engage and inform.
