Teams That Work Remotely

In 2020, most of us experienced what it’s like to work remotely . Some of us set up home offices or found a space at the dining table to work whilst not being able to make it in to the office.

Maddox helped many of its clients move to remote working, with MS Teams being the main platform used. Hosting was moved to more secure servers and security increased for users. It all worked well and everyone soon settled in to a new way of working.

The benefits are now being recognised by many companies, and remote working has opened up lots of new opportunities for securing talent and increasing connectivity within and between departments.

As it turns out, remote working is good for a lot of businesses and their employees. Productivity has gone up in lots of areas, mostly due to increased flexibility. So remote working can be a win win. Decreased overheads and increased productivity both at the same time.

Where should we invest?

Investing in the right technology is probably top of the list when considering the remote option. You will need video conferencing, team communication platform, cloud storage and telephony options to get started with the help of some ongoing support.

Once onboarding is complete, it’s over to your team leaders to set targets, deadlines and monitor systems.

Here at Maddox Tech we support MS Teams as the go-to application and platform for remote team working.

If you want to know more about how we manage transition and installation, please get in touch.
